Vegetable-tanned, saddle-stitched
Leather that gets better than it started.
Full-grain hides, tanned with bark rather than chrome, cut and stitched by hand. Everything here is built so a worn edge can be dressed and a broken thread can be resewn.
What we specify
The first scratch is not damage
- Hide
- 3.5 mm vegetable-tanned shoulder. It holds a burnished edge and takes a patina.
- Thread
- Waxed linen, saddle-stitched. If one stitch fails the seam does not unzip.
- Hardware
- Solid brass, no plating. It dulls with use instead of flaking.
